Sunrise

I took Grandma over to Sunrise Senior Living Center today to play cards. Sunrise is a residential community. Grandma has always said she was going to wait until she was 80 yrs old before considering moving out of her home. But she is finding it difficult to prepare food for herself, and she is very lonely.

Good news is - when we got to the game area and introduced each other, she met a man with whom they share mutual friends. It was very good.

I hope she likes it. I worry about her being alone in her chair all the time.

Loss

Very sad news for one of our friends. Cy Finkbiner's dad committed suicide Wednesday night. Jon, Chase Hook, Kevin, and Skyler are driving to Price, Utah to attend the funeral being held there this evening. So very sad. Jon and I had just been talking on Thursday about losing loved ones, and how the longing to see them never goes away.
